It is a six-million dollar tournament which will feature 8 T20 clubs. Among which, 2 teams from IPL, 2 from Australia, 2 from South Africa & 1 each from Pakistan & England.
The teams to feature are the 2 IPL finalists- Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings, Western Australia and Victoria (Australia), Titans and Dolphins (South Africa), Middlesex (England) and Sialkot Stallions(Pakistan).
The teams will be divided into two groups for a preliminary league, from where the top two teams will advance to the semi-finals. The commercial right of this series has been bought by ESPN-Star network for an amount of whopping 900 million dollars.
